It's that time of year.

I remember the way we use to make carmel (beeing from the south, that's how I pronounced it) apples. We would get the round sheets of caramel from the grocery store that you would stretch over the apple. Kinda like how they do on "ace of cakes" with the fondant (sp?). Anyway, when my mom wasn't looking I would just peel off the piece of caramel and eat it without the apple. Like a fruit rollup with no fruit. Just sugary goodness.
